The Startup Competition (powered by Microsoft BizSpark), brought to the main stage the two winning startups. iNovmapping and Localo were the chosen ones.
iNovmapping are the Portuguese leaders in 3D Modeling for the 3D layer of Google Earth/Maps. They use their competence in 3D Modeling using Google’s own tools (Sketchup) to grab landscape hotspots and use it to promote their modeling business.
Localo is a social marketplace that allows you to travel like a local, by booking rooms, homes, sofabeds, boats, private islands, whatever!… from locals willing to share them.
The two startups will soon receive offers from our partners, get covered in tech blogs and get exclusive access to some cool partner-powered opportunities. Congrats and don’t you forget to check their products.
We would like to apologize to the community but the startups and our partner in special for some poor (and even lack of) communication on what the Startup Competition is concerned. Lessons are taken and everyone is working to fix it in the future.
